Hefner Electric operates an audio/video design and installation service under the
Hefner Products Corporation.
Hefner Electric, an entity of Hefner
Products, Inc., is a privately owned and operated family
business in Southern California.
A family member will greet you on the phone, as well as
meeting you on your project location, and will install,
program and commission your system. All work is
supervised and installed by James Hefner, President of
Hefner Products Inc. Located conveniently alongside the
Interstate 5 freeway in Burbank California, we stand
ready to dispatch our custom built service vehicle,
which is more than outfitted to meet and exceed any
needs required on your project.

Our installation and
service truck pictured above has more equipment,
inventory, and tooling equipment than most System
Integration companies have at their main facilities
warehouse. This vehicle not only stocks all the cable,
connectors, structural hardware, support piping, and
tooling to complete a project on site, but it also
houses other features on board such as:
Electric generator, electric pipe threader, electrical
conduit and fittings, circuit breakers, electronic test
equipment, cable assemblies, adapters, wall plates and
modules, just to name a few. Additionally it houses the
one and only “Supercart” invented and built by Jim
Hefner and his sons.

The “Supercart” was
designed specifically for the ease of installations of
audio/video equipment. The cart features onboard
retractable power cords, 35 feet of industrial vacuum
hose, and enough hardware, connectors, tooling, and
equipment to install several rooms of equipment. This
cart, with its support service vehicle outside,
eliminate costly runs to the supply house, hardware
store, or warehouse. Once we are on the job, we stay on
the job until the installation is complete.

Test equipment,
soldering iron, and labeling equipment onboard the
“supercart”

Easily identified and
located parts compartments for a quick and easy
installation make it enjoyable to be on site and ready
for any issue that could arise during an installation.
